The first time the singer graced MTV's Video Music Awards stage, she - unsurprisingly - made a statement. Now a bonafide pop star, Gaga ruled the 2010 show, taking home eight moon men throughout the evening. And, never one to disappoint, she had many costume changes as well. Here, the singer accepted her Best Pop Video award from Glee's Cory Monteith (L) and Jane Lynch (R) in a black Armani dress with spikes to match her spiked headpiece.

Probably her most sensational outfit to date, Gaga wore a dress made of real meat during the 2010 show. Los Angeles designer Franc Fernandez constructed the carnivorous creation out of matabre meat, which weighed about 40 pounds. "She said it was the most comfortable dress of the night," Fernandez has said.
